About the Photographers

We have been photographing the Amish for more than ten years.  During that time, they have developed a special rapport with the Amish communities in and around Wayne and Holmes County, Ohio.  Each year, they spend a great deal of time interviewing and working with members of the various Amish orders in an attempt to more fully understand Amish culture.  Their knowledge of Amish beliefs and respect for Amish values has allowed them to capture the beautiful simplicity of Amish life.

Through our photography, we hope to share a small part of our experiences among the Amish and to help outsiders gain a better appreciation of one of Ohio’s best kept secrets.
